About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in psychotherapy and hypnotherapy with individual, couples and familes.  My private practice is located in Newport Beach, California.

With over 10 years experience as a clinician, I have worked with a wide variety of issues including eating disorders, substance abuse disorders, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks, depression, life transition issues, crisis intervention, specialized women's issues such as infertility,  high risk pregnancies, and domestic violence.  I utilize hypnotherapy to augment traditional talk therapy to achieve quicker and more lasting results.

My particular interest and strength is empowering clients to claim and achieve balanced, rewarding, successful lives.  Rather than rely solely on diagnosing a disorder, I like to help clients discover and emphasize those character traits and strengths, already existing within them!  Development of these strengths helps clients to cope with future issues and challenges as well as to optimize their potential.

I use a blend of conventional and alternatives approaches, drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. With sensitivity and compassion, I will work with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals.
